Zone Palace By The Park, Operated by Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Limited, built in 1750, is a splendid example of a heritage 'haveli', a rich merchant's mansion, with intricate 'jalli' work in red sandstone, with the order of workmanship and artistry testifying not only to the skills of the artisans but the wealth and status of the owner. Situated in the picturesque, historic town of Phalodi in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Phalodi is also renowned for its old Jain and Hindu temples which are over 300 years old. The Zone Palace By The Park with its many-splendoured traditional balconies and terraces provides a magical setting for parties and banquets and its ample courtyard recalls the glories of another era while at present, it serves as a venue for musical concerts and other shows. It has a remarkable library with books and manuscripts dating back to princely times.
